TEHRAN (IQNA) – Copies of the Holy Quran printed in China are among the items showcased in an exhibition mounted at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France.

According to al-Ghad newspaper, Cultures in Dialogue, a travelling cross-cultural exhibition features a collection of a unique assembly of artefacts reflecting the interaction of civilizations in the past while encouraging dialogue in the present.

It was launched in the French capital on November 29.

Objects of great beauty and deep fascination including Chinese Qurans, mosque lamps made in Vienna, Persian carpets with Russian texts featuring the Virgin Mary, and mystic artefacts shared from Africa across the Arab world to India, are the prime highlights, triggering a diversification of thoughts and emotions.

The expo will run at the UNESCO headquarters until December 14 and then move to the Arab World Institute, also in Paris.

It is also planned to be held in countries like Turkey, Spain, the US and Britain in the future.
